Decorating Sense….I think that Berber carpeting is amazing.  They are durable for heavy traffic areas.  They look great in any room.  The disadvantage of a traditional berber is that they are not a soft feeling carpet.   If you walk on a traditional berber without your shoes on, or if you sit on the carpeting it might not be a comfortable feel – especially if the berber is being used for a family room where people may sit on the floor to watch tv, etc.
